Review: Dove Nutri-Oil Serum

Summer made my hair really really dry so I was whining to a friend once about my dry hair and she recommended to me Dove nutri oil serum along with two other dove products but that is for another review :) So I decided to give it a try.

Product claims:

*Dry hair needs more than just moisture, it also needs essential nutrients that restore smoothness, softness & shine.

Advanced Nutri-Oils:
- A unique blend with natural coconut and almond oils.
- Rapidly absorbed and doesn't leave hair feeling greasy.
- Deeply nourishes, tames unruly hair and revitalizes shine.
- As good as Moroccon Oil Treatment*

Nourishing boost for smooth and shiny hair anytime. For amazing result, use together with Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo and Conditioner or Daily Treatment Conditioner.

The Verdict:

I applied it when my hair is dried though it says in the instructions that you can use it on either wet or dry hair. To see the difference better, I always apply it on my hair when it dries out. I used about 3-4 pumps because I have a long hair, so here is the result:

The lighting difference made my hair seems like different colors >.< But as you can see there is less frizz on the after picture. It's softer, smoother, and more manageable too and it absorbs easily so there's no oily texture after about a minute or two even on my hands.

You can see the shine too right? These pictures were both taken under natural lighting. No flash whatsoever. Also it has that almond smell that I really love but it's gone once the serum is absorbed by your hair so if you don't like it no need to worry. I've also heard that this serum works better as an overnight treatment so I'm going to try it and update this review after about the result.

All in all I'll give this product a 5/5 :)
Repurchase: Definitely!
